Lisa Marshall founded Specialty Rehabilitation Inc. (SRI) in 2002 when she realized that the patients in her community lacked access to crucial specialty rehabiliation services for cancer and conditions-related to its treatments. As the years went by and SRI expanded its services to meet the increasing needs, Lisa's vision expanded as well. She developed introductory to advanced training programs for therapists, outpatient clinics, home health care and cancer centers enabling them to expend the reach of oncology rehabiliation to rural areas worldwide.
Lisa's passion for every patient and caregiver to live their best life was the driver in developing SRI's Survivorship Series. These programs encompass a comprehensive range of programs and resources aimed at addressing various challenges faced by cancer survivors and caregivers. These programs are supported by local and national organizations and specifically target areas as chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), cancer-related fatigue (CRF), cancer-related cognitive impairments (CRCI), cancer-related falls and much more.
